THE SPECTRUM 1.1

Review: You Are the Light

You Are the Light presents a contemplative interaction with photon-like entities. The premise imagines millions of photons descending, inviting the participant to engage with light as a manipulable resource.

• Concept and mechanics: Hitting a photon yields control of that light; the collected color is displayed as a spectrum. The stated objective is to distribute hues evenly across the spectrum, creating a balanced palette over time.
• Dynamics and feedback: Movement disturbs the flow, introducing a tension between control and disruption. There are moments when capturing more light proves advantageous for progress or visual richness.
• Aesthetic and atmosphere: The ever-changing motion of the lights invites imagination and offers the possibility to weave a personal narrative tailored to the participant.
• Environment and immersion: In a darkened room, the experience can become more immersive, sharpening focus on the interplay of light and color.

Assessment: The concept is provocative and offers a distinctive sensory experience. Clarity of interaction, consistent feedback, and a scalable sense of progression could strengthen engagement while preserving the contemplative mood.
